I feel his pain 😞 I have 7 on my head that have just kind of gotten bigger over time, I too don’t even grab my mail without a hat, and now I’m officially losing my hair, which is now forcing me into a procedure like this. Unfortunately I’m a pretty poor guy and couldn’t afford to have them all taken care of at once. I’ve asked my insurance provider if they could help me but they told me that since they are not malignant and are no harm to me that the procedure would be considered “cosmetic “ and would essentially have to pay for it myself. I don’t struggle so much as I don’t have a lot extra to take care of it. I’m glad my wife isn’t bothered by them but I’m still self conscious about them in front of her because she’s really the only person I still want to impress even after the 9 years we’ve been together. I don’t need validation from the public, but it’s embarrassing because people are still people. 

They stare, they look, kids look, someone might even ask “what happened “ so I don’t go out much. Hard hat at work, baseball hat everywhere else. I bet this dude is gonna take a walk down the beach hatless immediately after the stitches are out. I would at least. Good for him. And from someone who literally has only two less than he did, same size and almost the same pattern scattered around the head, i mean good for him sincerely. Walk tall my man, the only thing you’re self conscious about is officially gone. Maybe one day sooner or later my wife and I will take our walk too. Without the damn hat!
