This elderly and abandoned German Shepherd had nowhere to go so he just hid under a car. It was precisely like this, hidden and frightened, that the Hope For Paws volunteers found the puppy when they arrived at the place where other people had seen him, ready to rescue him. Lisa knew how to gain, little by little, the trust of this sweet dog They soon discovered that the little animal was actually a dog with a very sweet look and a frightened expression. She was looking down dejectedly from under the vehicle, but you can tell by her eyes that she was hungry, as well as longing for love and attention . Eldad Hagar and Lisa Arturo, the two people who responded to the call, knew very well how they had to proceed to win the affection and trust of this furry little one… A delicious hamburger was enough to help her change her mind! Docile, loving and collaborative, it was very easy to get her off the streets and put her on the road to a better future.

Little by little, Lisa managed to get the little girl out from under that car where she remained paralyzed and once outside, she realized that Amelia (which was the name that the dog received later) had not completely lost confidence in people. It was fortunate that the dog agreed to collaborate, because despite her age and having been abandoned by her loved ones, she still had a lot of affection to give. And that shows the nobility that is in the heart of these animals always ready to offer their loyalty and love. Now she is in the best hands, of course waiting for a family that decides to keep her with them forever… We know she will succeed! It is outrageous to learn that some people consider abandoning their pets to their fate to be a better option, it is important to educate others about the commitment of taking care of a dog or a cat. Especially at this time of Christmas, many people give pets without being sure that those who receive them assume the commitment and responsibility of looking after them forever.
